I have been practicing family law since I was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 1975.
I provide advice on legal and personal issues arising on separation including division of marital property, child custody and access, child guardianship, child support, and spousal support.
I believe that the resolution of disputes through Collaborative Family Law is an open and respectful process that is an important step to address your interest in the ongoing relationships with your family members.
I am a Director of the Continuing Legal Education Society, a former President of the Victoria Bar Association, a former member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the Family Law Agreement Manual (1997-2006), and one of the originating members of the Victoria Collaborative Family Law Group.
I was the recipient of the Pamela Murray Award in 2005. This award is presented to a practicing member of the Victoria Bar Association “who has constantly maintained high professional standards and who has contributed substantially to the well being of the local bar.”
