I help people and organizations resolve conflict, with a focus on problem-solving, effective communication and preserving relationships. I believe the people involved are the best ones to decide the outcome and therefore I see my role is to support and facilitate that self-determination.

I made the choice to stop going to Court on family cases a few years ago, as I believe the Court process can have a serious impact on children and families and I prefer to focus my energies on the positive outcomes that very often result from processes such as Collaborative Family Law (CFL) and Mediation. In addition, I have significant experience and training as a family law mediator and have been the director of a federal government mediation centre.

I joined the Victoria CFL Group at its start in 2001, and have been conducting CFL cases on a regular basis ever since. I am a strong supporter of the use of Divorce Coaches and Financial Advisors in CFL.

I do not charge for the first 30 minutes of an initial consultation.
