The goal of the Schopper-Brigel Law Centre is to help you through one of the most challenging times of your life. We are here to assist you in achieving an optimal settlement (financially and emotionally) with a minimum of stress. We are unique, we think, in offering you the combined services of lawyer (myself, Elise) and coach (my husband, Wolf).

Wolf is trained to help you understand and deal with the challenging transition that you and your family are experiencing. My role is to help you and your spouse reach a legal agreement which is fair and tailor-made to your emotional needs. By working with us you avoid the expense of going to court and the "winner-take-all" attitude which it, all too often, engenders.

We work toward the best possible overall result for you and your family. We believe that the work we do together as a team will not end when the divorce is finalized and that through our work together you will be equipped with the skills necessary to deal even more effectively with the challenges that you will face in the years to come.

My experience in collaborative law is long-standing. In 2002 I introduced collaborative law to Austria and before long other European countries joined the movement. I am convinced that collaborative law is the best way to deal wisely, fairly and economically with divorce.
